Mission Statement
The mission of The Colombia Project is to
• Provide direct ‘community to community’ assistance to
help people in need
• Structure programs to encourage initiative and sustainability and
minimize dependency
• Encourage, support and cooperate with local Colombian non-profit
organizations

Our mission is accomplished by working
through Colombian grassroots organizations to provide micro loans to
enable families to set up small businesses.
Families receive the mentoring they need to
ensure that their ventures are successful.
All funds from repaid loans remain in the
community.
