Type:
Small Business Development
Status:
Funded

Summary
JUSTIFICATION Due to the socio-economic and political situation in the country, unemployment grows considerably within the total population no matter what the cultural or economic level of the individual is. People exceeding the age of 35 that do not have a proven track of employment in Colombia, are not very likely to be considered for employment by any company, obviously, women are the most affected by this cultural fact.

OBJECTIVE  Marlene wants to be able to make and commercialize different types of sweets and jellies, at a local, regional, national and International level. She foresees that this will generate enough to support her own family and will employ at least two more women for sales.

FINANCING  In order to start the project, she needs $300, payable without interest in a year. Payment will be made in 12 monthly payments.
